Statement:

I am networking engineer and have more than 10 years of experiences in Internet and IP technologies. I am QoS Manager in Mauritel SA, one the oldest AFRINIC member. I have attended many meetings for AFRINIC and share same ambitions and targets with its team and community to develop the Internet and IP technologies in the country. Over the last 10 years, I have been involved and participated in many projects that improve the IP and telecommunications in the whole country and had always the dream to have the chance to share my experience with my African colleges. I have three language (Arabic, French and English), I prepare my CCNP and plan to have my CCIE in few months.

My experience in organization and communications and my technical background could be useful to accomplish this responsibility. I believe that improvement and development of internet in our continent is our responsibility and the challenge will need us to have an outreach program actively working with educational and government institutions on the continent. The small countries off continent as mine need more attention to follow others in this development and not only focus in big countries.
