Session brief

Internet governance is becoming a critical issue in the management of the Internet, and this session will try and make sense of those issues. Matters such as Internet development and the roles of different actors like government, RIRs, civil society, and other, coordination of technical standards, the development and funding of critical infrastructure, regulation, legislation, and other issues will form the core of the issues tackled in this session. Organisations like ICANN, Address Supporting Organization (ASO), Number Resource Organization (NRO) and others will participate in this session to ensure they offer participants and delegates insights into the governance issues as and particularly the involvement and place of Africa in the same.
