Dates:
18 June, 2013 - 16:00 - 17:30

Stability and security are important to access and trust that people have on the Internet. Given growing threats and attendant importance of cybersecurity, DNSSEC has become an important issue in the growth, access and use of the Internet around the world. This session thus offers insights into how we can improve security and thus the stability of the Internet in Africa and what the same means to the economic and social development of the continent. This is especially important due to the global effects of a secure Internet able to handle threats and assure people that their operations online are safe and that they use the Internet without the fear of becoming victims of technology.
