AFRINIC-23 was held from 28 November to 4 December 2015 at the Hotel Azur Le Gilbert's in Pointe-Noire, Congo. Over 200 people from 34 countries attended the meeting. The event was co-organised by the ARPCE (the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Posts) and AFRINIC.
Taking place over two weeks, AFRINIC-23 saw eight workshop tracks, the AFRINIC IPv6, INRM, RPKI, DNSSEC, FIRE Africa trainings and AfricaCERT workshops which took place during the first days of the meeting. The AFRINIC-23 Public Policy Meeting and plenary sessions, as well as the AFRINIC Special General Members Meeting were held from 2-4 December 2015.
