Title: ISC, F-Root and BIND Update

Internet Systems Consortium has operated F-Root, one of the world’s thirteen root name servers, since 1994. We’re the authors of the DNS open source software BIND, and we have just released version 0.9 of the new open source DHCP server Kea. We also provide secondary DNS hosting for about 50 ccTLDs. In this session we will provide an update on the state of ISC, F-Root in Africa, and recent changes in our BIND and DHCP software. We will also describe how you can use and contribute to the open source projects, the support services available from ISC, and the ISC certification program for engineers.
